Rosie is a scientist and a dancer who grew up in the Deep South. She’s a lover of country music… who has a tendency to shout logical critiques at the radio while she’s driving.
Rosie is fascinated by unraveling the underlying assumptions of our culture, naming and marking the scripts and scaffolds for the stories we tell ourselves that govern our interactions. She is a firm believer in informed choices, and holds feminism dearly as a practical thing, a scuffed and muddy and precious thing, like a shovel when you need an irrigation ditch. Rosie cries at sappy movies.
